I was told this week that a levee or dike was built around the lower end of Burnt Cane to help conntrol the water level and clarity, how true is that? it sounds like a hoax to me! Have you heard that?

We drove through there today going to our place upon the ridge for the youth turkey hunt, water is still up to where we park, we had to turn around and go through Forest City to get to the ridge water is still over the road down next to the river.
