    Default camping around horseshoe


    I will be coming down next week and looking for a place to stay or camp around Horseshoe. also water temps would be great.

    Water temps last weekend were 57-59 degrees. Not much over there in the way of campgrounds that I know of. The closest bet might be a motel in West Memphis. Don't know of anything in Hughes. Maybe somebody else has a better idea...

    they let people camp over at Pete's old place don't they....Chris...I have seen some campers there before though they might be friends of ramps owners. as a matter of fact i know i have seen campers there

    It's the highest I've seen it in 5 years. No problem launching at either ramp.
    I have a place on the South end of the lake, and during this past summer and fall, the water go down to 18 inches off the end of my pier. Last week it was almost 8 feet deep.

    r the fish doing anything there yet? Went today and didn't get a bit. Water temp up to 63 degrees.F.
