    Default Floats

I am trying to find these little orange floats that i use on my jig poles, but i cant find them anywhere. I think they are called Bettz or something like that. they are about 3/4" long and about 3/8" round. I used to get them at Bates, but cant find them anymore. Does anyone know anything about them. By the way... they are some type of wood or cork. Please help!!!!!

You can take a look at this catalog to find what you're lookin' for. The balsa wood bobbers are about 1/2 way down. http://www.bettstackle.net/pdf/betts05-06rfloats.pdf

Here are some that I use. I always use slip corks or slip floats. I fish a jig or live bait under them. Biggest reason is that I can cast them. Fish my bait every up to 25ft deep.

I use a 1 1/2" oval float, I beleive it is by the white river bobber company. It is unweighted. I just use one of the rubber bands that hold my jiggin' pole together tied to the line for a stop (redneck style)
