warmer temps did prove to be more favorable for the crappie!biting well early and late.midday pretty slow.my buddy J catching 4 limits over the weekend.his method very productive,and as the weekend proggressed crappie moved up in the grass.also 3-6' deep.some still being picked up deep.Willy snatching his limit on sat.nephew and i caught 13 fri night,got cold had to leave,not enough clothes.3' deep under a bobber jig tipped with a rosey.started out tightline deep only catching 1 in a hour and a half.yesterday evening 2 men both had their limit in 1 boat.several caught enough to eat on.one man had 6 with 1 at 2.5lbs,female with eggs.of course not everyone did well.its the difference of putting in the time to finger them out.summary---more being caught shallower!

You forgot to tell them that I brought my 5 yr old son, and we did a lot of boat riding, paddle flopping in the water, and net dropping. He seemed to think that the fish would just swim into the net. The folks living in the houses around the pond got a good look at him wizzing off the front of the boat as well. He had to go about three times.

Needless to say, I fished for about 20 minutes and got one. My son rode in the boat, spashed, and held the fish for the other 2 hours.
