    Default Some slabs from SEARK

I went to Lake Chicot today, after going yesterday and only catching about 100 yellow bass. I fished some deeper water today and didn't even catch 1 yellow bass. The crappie I caught today were really nice, I only caught 11 and had one that was 12 in., the rest were 14.5 to 16 in., some nice fish. The 10 best weighed 18lb. 4oz. Caught them in 13-16 fow at 8-11 ft deep.
Caught 5 on jigs and the rest on rosies. It was good getting some nice fish again, going to try them again tomorrow, but it may be too windy to fish where I did today. The water temp today was 50-51 degrees.

    Some of the good'uns

    A couple of 2lb. plus

    Todays catch

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Great looking mess of crappie!!! Yesterday, my ice chest looked just like yours, minus the fish.

That's what I've been wanting to see and hear. Have caught some slabs in the past on Chicot. What about Connerly Bayou Jerry? With all the rain I'm sure it's a lil muddy? Nice mess of Chicot crappie...

Conneryl is so muddy, I think I saw some coon tracks going across it.
