    Default Hummingbird 787c2i

I just ordered a Hummingbird 787c2i. I was wondering if the maps that were on the unit were sufficient to use or do I need to buy the Navionics (Hotmap) card. For those of you that have this unit, how do you like it? I had a hard time deciding between a Lowrance unit and the Hummingbird, but ultimately the price made the difference. I was able to get this unit for $559 for the display, transducer, mounts and everything needed to mount the unit. Is this a good price or about average for what most of you are seeing. It was also no tax and no shipping because it was an ebay purchase.

Can't wait to get my boat and get this installed on it. Just a couple of more weeks to go.

Have you mounted your new unit? Have you been out to use it? If so how do you like it?

Boat is in the shop and it is being mounted while it is in the shop. I won't get to use it for another week or so.
