    Default Fishing around Warren

My son is living in Warren now . Anyone here familiar with that area? He doesn't have a boat and not a lot of free time but still enjoys wetting a line. Where do you go and what are the preferred baits for your area? Thanks in advance for your help.

Felsenthal is a fishing paradise. It is between Crossett and Strong. You have Jones lake (North of Hwy 82, pretty easy to find) or you can put in at crossett harbor and hit the river. Just hit google maps and the satellite view and pick your passion.

i am not aware of any boats for rent around those areas. you could fish from the shore but your opportunities will be limited without a boat. my advice would be to try to find a used flatbottom boat.

there are some boats for rent at lake chicot, which is about an hour or so away. cane creek is another lake not too far away, close to star city, and there is a fishing pier located on the south side.
