Millwood Lake
I am new to the web site, but I was a teenager before Millwood was built and we had McGuire, Horseshoe and a few other lakes that were scattered thru out in the back woods country that was excessed by terrible old logging roads. These small lakes are now referred to within Millwood Lake System as Oxbows. Getting into them by boat is a trip that must take care and patience, but the rewards are great. Crappie and Catfish heaven. The lake is a stump hazard and the guys must use the boat lanes and cuts used by other boaters to excess the oxbows thru the creeks. Millwood has its share of Crappie and you do not need to make a habitat for Crappie, the entire lake is a habitat to include the rivers.

I love Millwood! Caught my best 3.01# at the CAST tournament last year.
2 days in a row we had 7 fish that were over 16 pounds.
Beautiful lake with huge fish!
