    Thumbs up NightStalking Beaver

:D Caught a limit of Crappie last night. Perfect night for fishing, 65 degrees with no wind. Fished from 9:30 to midnight using only jigs. First time at night bringing no minnows:D . Sure was a great night. Females are full of eggs & starving to death. All of their bellies were full of eggs. Hope the weather will remain springlike. I've got the fever bad now.

How about some details? Were you up the river arms or main lake. About how deep? I went to Natural Walk today and fished both up the river and toward the lake. I ended up catching about 15 but several were small. The wind was pretty bad and it started to lightning about 2:00pm so that was the end of my day.

Way to go Shores, I bet that was a lot of fun. Keep after them, and thanks for the report.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Great report! I love to hear a good report from a fellow nightstalker. Give us a few details about how you were set up and how you rig your boat for stalking. I can always use a few tips on the nite bite.

I was taught that nothing good happens after dark. My Grand Father was right as far as my experience goes. I have froze, got lost, broke down, etc. All while trying to fish at night.

Caught them up in Prarrie creek. Was'nt on the boat my power trim is bust. Have to resort to dock fishing for now. Fished between 12' at one dock to 17' at another. Caught em all on the 2"baby shad's by Bobby Garland. I've had a little success w/jigs at night before this time was great. Wish I could totally swear off minnows. Probably won't happen.
