Bait Shop in Marianna, AR

Got a question. For the past several years I have gotten my bait from Six Rivers Bait Shop in Marianna, AR. I know Lloyd who runs the place had heart surgery last year but he said after that he was going to open back up. I called down there last week and the number was disconnected. Does anybody know anythign about this, is he planning on re-opening. Any update would be good.

I hate hearing that. There have been times that he could not bust a bill and he's let me have my bait for free. He said just pay when you get back this way. He is a good fellow. looks like one has to go through Forrest city to get bait now.

Is that the baitshop on the right as you are coming from Hughes on 79? Never knew the name of it.

That's it. If you are coming from Hughes, it is on the right just before you get to Marianna. Does anybody know anywhere else you can buy slicks down that way?

If coming into Marianna on Hwy 1 from Forrest City, there is/was another bait shop there on the left as you come into town. They work on motors and such, but I haven't bought anything from them in years. Lloyd normally gets my business, but I don't know if he is still open or not.

I know the shop you are speaking of but have never seen the place open. I guess i run through there to early in the morning for those guys.
