Anybody have some info on the lakes over there? I'm headed that direction this weekend and plan to do plenty of crappie catchin'... Probably fish Burnt Cane on Sat and depending on how that goes, fish Midway or Horseshoe Sun.

Any word on Burnt Cane? I saw post back around the first of the year sayin' that the clarity was a little off-color on down the lake. And is the level still up a bit? I know that ramp can be a nightmare... Better stay to the left! Last trip out there, I was wonderin' if that poor dude was ever gonna get his trailer back...

Also...any word on Horseshoe or Midway?

the water at midway is bad low. hard to launch a boat.

I launched a large jon on Burnt Cane a couple of weeks ago. Horseshoe is a challenge to launch a large boat in. If the Mississippi will rise above 22' at Memphis, it will put water into Midway. Midway hasn't produced for me the last few years-----May just be my timing.

Some of my friends have been catching a few at horseshoe plus some big cats. Heard they been wearing them out at old town. Liittle to far for me but heard they have been getting some good ones. Good Luck
