Caught a few. Half the lake had good color, rest pretty murky. Wind was tough. Bill Dance put in just ahead of me----don't know if he caught any fish.

He didn't catch many. He called me all disgusted and bend out of shape. I told him he can't always catch them like me. I didn't get to talk to him too long though because Pres Bush called me (I don't normally answer beeps, but figured what the heck, he is the prez and all) and he was concerned about the direction of the war and wanted my opinion. He was also wondering if boogers leave a stain when wiped on his socks. I told him to call Clinton. He knew all about stains..

That rain---er---flood--- a couple of weeks ago likely upset the lake, but it should make launching those bigger boats easier. Hopefully it will settle down soon.

It was a little shallow at the launch, but doable. The water was perfect on the launch end of the lake. My first time on the lake, but not my last.
