Thanks for being a part of our Christmas

Christmas came early at the Morris house. The boys are old enough to know that ole dad ain't Santa, but they know he's fat and jolly enough to be one of his head elves.

You gents on the Arkansas board played a big part in helping me pick new, matching deer rifles for the boys. They got the works with Savage 270 Win. We spent this afternoon at the Scatter Creek Rifle Range. The boys were on paper at 50yds. and after one adjustment they were nailing a respectable, first-timer 4-inch group at 100yds (off-hand). When they can consistently make that 100yd. group in 2-inches, we'll move back to 200yds. We had a great time, worked hard on cleaning the rifles, ate pizza and played one-up on the sore shoulders.
