Erling Report or lack of report

OneON and I made a drive to Erling today after a late start due to rain. Arrived around 8 am. Looked like it was going to stop but as soon as we pulled out from the launch the bottom dropped out. We caught 2 nice crappie and a 4 pound blue but really didn't find any shad on the southern end of the lake. Took a drive up to Blackwells after lunch, scoped it out but nobody was fishing and the rain didn't let up. I'll stay with it as soon as the rain stops next week. Thanks to all. Don

I also had a cold wet day on Erling do not know how I missed you only saw about 4 boats allday fished near dam in the morning had 3 medium crappie moved to creek after lunch ended up catching about a dozen in creek all small saw your message after I got back to house would have called glad I did not since yesterday was such a bust.
