Little Maumelle 12/5

Went today, and the wind blew me off the river. I managed to catch one nice crappie under the bridge. He was at 7ft in 13ft of water.

I don't know when these things are going to turn on, but I sure am ready.

I've been fishing Little Maumelle fairly consistently. Been catching three or four good sized crappie lately but there's been no rhyme nor reason to them. They've been suspended sorta of in the middle of nowhere. However, I had an hour late Tuesday afternoon. From the mouth of the river up about 200 yards, my fish finder was showing a near solid cloud of bait fish at 9 to 13 feet with tons of fish chasing them. I had no minnows, only jigs...couldn't get a bit. Only had an hour. I feel like it could have been a different story with rosy reds.
