Well guys, I hit the water over on Cane Creek today around 8ish. Ended up with 7 R_E_A_L_L_Y nice ones. I guess I need to ask Santa for a set of fish scales so I can actually see how well I am doing. These fish today are the biggest I have ever caught.

congrats allen. I hope that those trophies match your deer that you got when you should have been crappie fishing. how long were your biggest ones?
Hey bugman, CC is in southeast Arkansas, just east of Star City.Originally Posted by bugman

Actually, I didn't even measure them. I had 6 of them that had to have been within 4 ounces of each other. They were huge. I only caught one dink all day. Spider riggin was pretty much out for the most part. I couldn't hold the boat at a constant speed due to the South wind. (Which was really different for me on Cane Creek. I usually have a North wind.) I ended up with my ultralight and a slip cork around 4-5' deep with rosies. I had one really nice one get off. (I think my knot broke.) Bugman, Cane Creek is in Star City Ar. Let us know when you are coming and I bet a couple of us will be over there and can put you on em.
Beautiful fish Bobber. Once the relatives are gone Saturday I may try to slip down there Sunday morning.
