    Question Fish Finder?

Just got home today with my "new to me" boat. It has a Lowrance X50 at the console with the transponder mounted on the transom. I want to put one on the trolling motor; any suggestions as to what to go with?

Chuter, I have a Humminbird Matrix 17 on my trolling motor that I really like. Try J and H Products, they have the best prices that I have found.

I have a Humingbird 535 single beam on my TM. I rarely pay any attention to my stern graph any more. I paid around $125 if I remember right at Academy.

Any of the Humminbird Matrix or 500 series are good. And, you don't have to spend a bunch of money to get a good one with lots of resolution. Lowrance makes some great units. I don't have one on my boat right now but will have in the near future.

After you get it, find the post or read the article on my website Jerry Blake wrote about getting the most out of your sonar unit. It will help bunches.

I would like $250 or less; it seems like everyone has something different. The first time I get to go out I'll see what the Lowrance X50ds that came of the transom looks like. I need something simple, LOL.
