The 2007 Fall Crappie Camp will be October 12-14 at Kirby Landing Recreation area on Lake Greeson. This Fall's camp will be simple and fun. Come and prefish as much as you like. Saturday at about 5:30 p.m. bring your crappie to the Kirby Landing Marina on a stringer for picture taking time. We will have a fish cleaning station set up there. We'll clean fish and then start the potluck fish fry. Bring your favorite side dish and/or dessert. We will have a nice big fire and lots of time to fellowship.

Hey guys/gals is there a particular place with cabins or rentals of some sorts that yall are staying at? Can you give me a link. Also is there some of you guys that would be willing to share a boat with me and my son and maybe my dad? Sorry but I don't want to pull a boat that far. OR is there a place that rents boats there? I could do that too. Thanks in advance for any info yall can give me.

The only place where success comes before work is in the dictionary!
SMILE- A curve that can set a lot of things straight!
Try Self creek marina very nice log cabin type rentals also boat rental!
Self Creek is about the only thing near where we will be fishing. There are some places in Glenwood about 8 miles away. Your best bet is to camp. Kirby has some small boats to rent and Self Creek has pleasure boats to rent. Nothing really set up for fishing though. There should be enough people there that it won't be a problem finding a ride.Originally Posted by shadow
