Cane Creek 10/20-21/07

Sorry for not posting earlier, got busy, and then the site was having problems. Fished Saturday morning ended up with 5 good ones, wind started and the bite stoped. Fished Sunday evening, ended up with 6 good ones and 3 decent bass, wind stoped and the bite started. Water temps 69 in the AM, 72 in the PM. Many fisher-peoples present. Seem to still be near the weeds but closer to being in the timber than previous weeks. Sorry about not having pics. Jim.

Thanks for the report Jim, this weeks cold weather should really get things going at Cane Creek. I am taking a day off Friday and going there. I fished Morgan Point last Sat., I caught quite a few, but most were small, just kept 7. Water temp should be down a lot by Friday, will post a report.

Been wondering if they have started bitting at Cane Creek yet. I'm going to be heading down there this weekend and plan on trying them Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thanks for the reports.

Krappie KG I'll be there Friday morning, if you see me pull up and visit. The temp should be just right for some slabs this weekend, I have really been looking forward to this weekend.

Thanks for the report, Jim. Sounds like they are about ready to do something out there...and it's a good thing, cuz I'm startin' to get the shakes...:D

Gonna be getting there Friday afternoon and fishing through the weekend and doing some bow hunting in the morning. Hope to see ya'll there. The water temps should be getting about right.
