Hi Folks..................
This is the new record in Canada. He caught it on Rainy Lake.
Check this thing out.. The last picture is unbelievable!
This guy (in the photos), was fishing and caught a 36" Pike - as he was reeling it in, a 56" Pike tried to eat it!!!!! He brought them both in on the same net.
Awesome catch on a river in Canada - 55lbs- 56 inches.

I saw one about that size jump 6 feet out of the water on Lake Kabetogama which joins Rainy Lake. It was trying to get a pretty big sea gull and barely missed. I guarantee you he wouldn't have had any trouble swallowing it.
WOW!!!!!!!That is impressive!!! Thanks for the picture.

I have caught many catfish like that. I ran trotlines and would get small channel cats trying to eat a 4" perch (mky bait), the hook would get them. I would then hook them through the tail (the cat) and the next day I would find a 20-40 lb blue cat on that hook. I caught one 56 lbs like this.
That's an amazing picture...to actually see it happen!
Your not fishing, unless your crappie fishing!
