I just noticed today that the algae bloom is starting to die off here on mound lake. most of the algae is sinking off on the bottom. Usually our lake is like pea soup during the summer & early fall. today, the water is clearing up a little bit. I've also noticed acorns starting to drop here at the house. It's not far away!! If the rain can hold off, I'm gonna see if I can get a few fish to bite, but they are calling for some rain. we'll have to see.
