Thanks for the link. Its one that anyone planning to fish the river should check before departing. That river is a dangerous place if you dont know what your dealing with.

I thought most folks would find this stuff interesting. Here is a link to the arkansas river stage & levels. It is updated daily, and even has forcasts for the future. They have the same sort of format for Most rivers in the nation, that are governed by the corp.

The link has a long address, but it should work. This is a custom river page that I made, that has the flow for the Little rock area & pine bluff area.

Thanks for this post, it is helpful. I am traveling to river fish in Arkansas this month. I needed to know, since it has not been raining which rivers were where. I know the rivers I wish to look up. The White River, Buffalo, and the the little red. So this should aid the search!
Good luck to the baited line, may you catch many slabs!

Hard to tell much from the data as to the Arkansas. the level can be at the same level but might have very different flows.
Thanks Randy. I can even use this in my business sometimes for predictions.
FYI....Small craft advisories are in affect when the flow is 75000 cfm. It stayed over that all summer long. Had to tow the toon to a lake if I wanted to use it.

I don't know how much luck you will have floating the Buffalo this time of the year. The White has been just about perfect all year. I don't fish the Little Red much anymore. But, it has had water in it everytime I crossed it. I have been seeing some good reports.
