Catfishing is heating up again.

The high water messed up our Catfish holes on Nimrod. Well it's down and they're moving back in.:D I and a buddy caught 12 yesterday in an hour and half. Today I started late again. It's sale day at the farmers market where my son sells tomatoes. I got out about 8.00 am and by 10.00am when I quit it was hot !. Kept a limit of good cats. The 10 was 37 lbs with the 5 biggest were over 5 lbs each. Maybe I can feed them up and start taking guided trips again.

That's good to hear.... right at out at home (he says whilst wiping his mouth from leftovers from last night...).

I will bait them heavy if you want to book a trip. Got someone picking up some feed for me today. There was a few Catalpa Worms on a couple of trees and I picked about 200 today. The fresh ones are much better than frozen. Several at other lakes said it did'nt help them to bait holes. If it's in the right spot it sure does here.:D

Ready to book another trip? My son , another Crappie .com guy and a kid who's mom works at the bait store went along this morning. We let the kid land alot of them and he's hooked. We kept 37 Catfish and a Buffalo in about 3 1/2 hours. The kid took home 3 gallons of fillets and the other guy took home a good mess. Maybe we can post pics later.
