    Default Slow on Nimrod

Didn't do very well jiggin' on Nimrod this weekend. Should have tried trolling Bandits as all the fish I seen were at about 8 feet deep in 12 to 18 feet of water. The only ones that we picked up on our jig poles were when we were making fast turns. I didn't have my Bandits or the rods I troll with in the boat.
May try the Bandits next time.
Did get some pics of a mature bald eagle and a beautiful sunset though.

I went out to bait a catfish hole today. Man it was hot ! I hit 1/2 dozen tops and stakebeds while I was out. Had several small pecks on my jig and caught a couple of dinks. Maybe after the water gets down it will pick up some.
Nice Eagle pics David , did'nt know there was any on the lake this time of year.

Great pics! I hear that the eagle has been removed from the endangered species list. That is great news!

Been seeing this eagle for a couple of weeks now. He was checking out a floating catfish when I snapped the pic of him down by the water. A boat had just went by when I took the picture or he probably would have been lower.
Also had a Warthog fly over us doing barrel rolls but I didn't have the camera ready.
