Spring is just about here, and anglers are getting excited to start setting out jugs, trotlines, and limb lines to try and catch themselves a good haul of fish. While there is nothing better than seeing a dancing jug and knowing that there is a nice-sized fish waiting at the end, anglers need to ensure that they keep track of their gear. AGFC personnel pick up thousands of trotlines, jugs, and limblines each year. The passive fishing gear left in the water can get stuck in boat propellers, harm wildlife, and create hazards for people. So don’t be a litterbug and pick up your jug!
