Thread: Takeum beatdown

Fished again today but changed lakes . Found just right color water and they was chompin . All I used was the same dark colored Takeum handtied jig tied on my Huckabee Trident 13' jig pole as last 2 trips . It is getting tattered but still rippin lips after catching way past 100 Crappie . Was bad foggy and cleared off to be a great morning but got windy like has been the norm lately . I think 2023 going to be another good Crappie snatching year . Brought in my 30 and shared with a older neighbor after filleting them . Fried up some for a late lunch , nothing like fresh fish .
