Crappie biting on Nimrod today

I went out to check my spots and try out my new Cuda 242 depthfinder. I only fished about an hour and got soaked. But I love my new toy as it's great for the price. I kept 1 cat and 5 Crappie using jigs. They were in 10' of water. Broke off another cat and lost another good Crappie. The ones I caught were nice fish. Biggest Crappie was 15'' then 3 AT 14'' and 1 AT 11''.. Was going to post a picture but it was poor as camera lense fogged up. They hopefully will bite tomarrow. Gonefishin has booked a trip.
Better get that boat lined out Slabbandit. Oh yea ,thanks for the new dip net it works great.

I had to look twice to make sure this wasn't a CEB post. He loves to fish in nasty weather.

Slabbandit brought me a bunch of worms for taking him out fishing and a nice new rubber dip net. I also bought a case of Turkey liver which works great. A new crop of worms should appear soon. Better get back up soon if you can. I had went out to try my depth finder. The water is still rising slowly. The Crappie that hit were good ones, just hate not going early this morning. Cleared off as soon as I got home.:rolleyes:
Better get back with your jig pole and Crappie fish. We can always go after the cats if the Crappie won't cooperate.
