Minnow Man and I went out yesterday and after a brief stop for minnows we were on the water by 6:30 am. We caught some Black Bass on minnows, Crappie fishing was poor for us. The big thrill for the day was a striper, bout 2.5 maybe 3 lbs caught on a Shinee Hinee. I'll tell you what, on a 7' ultralite rod, this is big fun. Ok....so you caught the big fish?!!! Big deal, at least you CAUGHT A FISH this time, hahahah! Let's give them the overall statistics for the day though, ok?
Disclaimer: The following are guestimates based off my expertise, the fish were not weighed on certified scales therefore the weight totals my be off give or take a few oz.'s......=)
Stinky....3 fish totaling approx. 4.5 lbs.
Minnowman....4 fish totaling approx. 5.5 lbs.
It took about a minute, maybe two to get this striper in, I have to admit I was impressed with the way Stinky "worked this fish over".....great job!
