    Default Fish-n-Eat for May

Well boys...the boards gettin' kind of dead here lately (and I'm just as guilty as everyone else). And that means its time to get-together and do some BS'in. I think we should throw this one out there and see what kind of input we get...So, when and where do yall want to have it. Then we will put it to a poll.

Some ideas to get us started...

    1. Nimrod and Slabbandit had talked about gettin' a catfish hole baited up. That sounds like a lot of fun to me

    2. The mouth of the lil maumelle river should be pretty good this month. I don't know for sure yet...but I plan to do some scouting very soon.

    3. A nightstalk on Lake Maumelle would be nice. Those are some beautiful evenings out there...We found some good main-lake humps that would probably hold everybody. We just need to get back out there and map it a little better.

I'm up for it. Just need a ride, don't want to pull my boat all the way down there. Maybe Jack will let me ride with him again. We were pretty lucky last time. LOL

Hey Slipcork, I know what you mean about just getting out there. But, I do know any easy fix for that...

And Flyflinger, there will be plenty of boats to hop aboard. Hopefully Jack will join us again too.

So what are you guys thinking??? Daystalk, Afternoon-Daystalk, or just Nightstalk? Norrell, Conway, L. Maumelle River, Lake Maumelle?

And most importantly...FOOD! What do you folks want to eat? Crappie, burgers, t-bones?

Looks like LM is getting popular. However I have never been to Norrell. If we have it on Lake Maumelle, we might convince the wife to let us take her boat out. It will hold a dozen people or so.
Steaks???? Do we still have that much in the kitty??

The Little Maumelle does seem to be getting pretty popular. It is a great spot considering it's proximity to the main metro area. I know for some on this board, it's like fishin' in the backyard and that's just too convenient to pass up...

I would, however, like to branch out to other areas on the AR river. I know there are other productive spots out there. Burns Park, Tar Camp, etc...What are y'alls thoughts on these places? Any others hot-spots on the AR river?

And the T-bones were just to get a rise out of y'all...:D We can cook up some fillets again, as long as we don't interfere with anyones diet.

TJ, we won't have it on the same weekend as the NWA Camp. Hopefully a lot of us will be headed up there on that weekend...
