I replaced my starting battery with a dual purpose battery from Batteries Plus for a little over $200. It will run the Live Scope, Helix 12" Chirp and live well for 8 hours and still start the outboard. For many years I have ran jumpers between the starting battery and one of the trolling motor batteries with disconnects on the positive and negative. When the starting battery was to weak to start the outboard I could jump it. I've not needed it since I bought this battery.
