Good Night for the Kids

We went to the lake house at Lake Norrell last Fri night (05-11) and was able to do this off the dock. The kids had a great time with them. All on hot dogs. Not the bass, it was on a crankbait.

Also had some guys fish by the dock Sat. and showed me a 14" crappie and a 4.5lbs bass. Hard to find in that lake.

Great catch slipcork. Bet those young'ns loved it. Try feeding sweet feed or soured wheat off the dock and you will usually see them pile up around it the longer you do. Catfish are lots of fun when hot weather slows everything else.:D

Using hotdogs ehh? They like them cooked or raw? Mustard or mayo? :D No way in the world I could use hotdogs for bait around my two girls. They would eat em faster than I could get em on the hook.. LOL :D

Looks like y'all had a blast. You know it's been a good day when the kid's smile is hidden by trying to hold the stringer up.:D I bet they will be hangin' around the dock a lot more now.

And I'm also glad to finally see a picture of that pretty lake. That toon appears to be waiting on a nightstalk...:rolleyes:
