Thread: Last week's float trip

Rough float trip last Friday . Took a 17' canoe with 3 of us and water low . They carried too much gear which was unneeded. Caught a several Bass , I caught about 8 good Small Mouth and we caught a several Largemouth and Spots . Threw a Rattlin Rouge in same purple/chartreuse . Don and his son threw a variety of baits . Bet they get some of what I used . Sure was tired and did not get out except to grill some food on the weekend . Still hot and sore from sitting in a wet seat and falling on rocks pulling over shoals . Smallmouth are scrappers and one of my favorite fish to catch .
