The water has fallen about 2-3 feet from what it was on Monday. I am sure that has the fish all screwed up. I tried fishing 2, 4, 6, and 10 feet deep and got nothing.

Water temp was 72. It was 69 on Monday. The male fish had blood on the tails and the female had eggs in the fish I cleaned on Monday.

Hope it gets better for you. Nimrod has been falling about 1' per day. I can relate to that. Plan on trying tomarrow if the weather does'nt mess up.

I made a trip to the LMR yesterday afternoon (1-4pm) after a busted trip to Conway that morning. I fished around the mouth of the creek for the most part. I also noticed that the river was very low. Caught a big 'un just a few minutes after I got going, and thought it was gonna be amazing...wrong.:D It was a big ol' female white crappie, and I put the her on the scale as soon as I caught her (because she looked so big). She weighed 1-14 but I'd have guestimated a lot bigger than that. It looked like she didn't have many eggs left, but I didn't put the fillet knife to her to make sure. Caught 4 more keepers and 10 or so dinks. Caught all of the fish about 8' deep over 12-16' of water. Ended up leaving all 5 of 'em sittin' on one of our boo piles. Hope they stay put 'till I get back...:D I hope the yellow bass stay out of the area for awhile...Last year you couldn't give a crappie enough time to take it before a mean little yeller bass knocked the fire out of it.
