Today was bright skies behind a cold front , east wind and the COE was pulling water . Started off tough but livescoped a bunch of spots and finally spotted some tight to bottom and wood . Most would not even follow a bait must less bite . Then I started putting it on their nose with livescope . That Hot Rod by Power Crappie rigged with a Timmy Tom insert jig head with Purple/ Chartreuse Umbrella tube worked them over . I can't wait to try some of the Wister Slab Daddy baits I was given as soon as my barbed weedless jig heads comes in . I kept a limit of 12'' and bigger crappie as well as released more just under 12'' .
