    Default batter bowl

I was impressed with the bowl Jerry uses to meal his fish. I get obsessed with things occasionaly and just had to have one for this weekend. I found them on line for around $20 but, that wasn't quick enough. I found them at Gander Mountain for $12 including tax. This is the first time I have shopped or purchased anything there and felt like it was a good deal....for me.
Better hurry if you want the last one I saw.

Good deal, DP. I'm surprised that you didn't have to donate a kidney to get one at Gander Mtn...:D

But seriously, I have thought about picking one up. Have a few questions tho. Since I don't normal cook that many at one time, would it really be useful? Also, do you just leave any left over meal in the bowl afterwards? Seems like it might get kinda nasty or waste more meal than necessary...

I thought the peices snapped together like Tupper Ware. They don't. Usually, when I cook fish, I don't keep the left over meal from the bag anyway. The directions say it is good for chicken and vegetables too. That's what we ought to do....get our daily vegetables by battering them up with corn meal and frying them. I think the meal would keep from day to day in the fridge that way.

I bought one of these a year or two ago, but never used it for a small amount of fish. I usually just use a ziploc bag and mix up just enough. However, for bigger fish cookings, I love mine

Academy Sports in NLR had a bunch of them in there as well the last time I was in there but I did not pay any attention to the price. From what I have seen on other stuff though they should be as low or cheaper than Gander Mountain!
