Our Lakes are Real high ,unusually high for this time of year..Have learned to use the crankbaits to find the Tree are brushpile..
Mark them..Today Electronics have made jig fishing better because we can mark it..
And go back..And Ketch with jigs..Ketch 8-10 move to the next ketch 8 or 10 before you know it..You have a livewell full..
Keep enough to eat....

My Garmin says 1.15 Mph...I usually pull 4 rods out of the front of my boat..Two 12 ft and Two 9 ft BassPro Crappiemax Rods,powerpro Braid 20 lb/ 6 lb dia..straight to the bait..Haven't lost a crankbait in a long time...
Don't like leaders..They loose baits in the Trees and Brush..My Two Pennies..
