    Default Reelfoot

I went to Reelfoot last weekend and caught 15 and one big ole cat. The wind was blowing like hell. I caught them in 2.5 foot of water. I decided not to fish this weekend due to cold front.

I rented a cabin for the nights of 14th,15th,16th of this month. The wife plans on staying the night of the 14th. Then I'll have it to myself. So, if anyone wants a place to stay and fish on the 15th,16th are more than welcome. This place sleeps 6. There is room for 5. I don't think this guy will charge extra for more people on these days. I'm pretty sure of that. However the invite is there. Just let me know if you can swing it.

I hope you fellows that are going to Crappie Camp 07 that you have a blast. Be safe!!!!!!!!!!

If my back was not hurting I would sure take you up on that offer. Went there 2 weeks ago and keep 33. Sure would love to take my fishing partner over there (13 year old daughter)

May think about that one, myself. I went out & checked the water temps here at home on the ol' oxbow lake. 59 degrees!! Last week, water temp was 74! 20 mph gusts in my face on the dock. I decided I'm gonna make me some trotline weights, clean the boat, sharpen my fillet knives, etc. Don't know that I'll be fishing, unless that wind drops a little. I can handle the heat, cold, rain.... but that wind gets to me. can't handle those big ol' gusts in my face. can't cast, can't face the wind, can't keep the boat from movin'. What a shame for the 7th of april!!

Know what you mean Randy. Been windy and really cold here. Yestereday morning it was 22 at my house. Heading to Reelfoot on Wednesday for 4 days of camping and fishing, I sure hope it warms a little and the wind lays.

Rusty thats a great offer but I'm heading to Crappie camp. Make sure you set your camera on those 30 packs so you wont forget it. I want to see some pictures of those Reelfoot slabs. Try and get us some pics without you in them will ya?

I know what you mean Chris, it's awful tempting to go to Reelfoot. Wish it wasn't the same time as Crappie Camp. Would like to see you and Rusty at CC, but would also like to fish Reelfoot.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Naw you better stay home and study. Which reminds me. The boy who thinks he loves my daughter will be attending your school next semester. I'll need somebody to keep and eye on him and maybe whip that azz. Then my daughter will come there the following year. I'm sure i'll need a spy. Someone to say, do you think your daddy would approve of that. :D
