Yesterday we wanted to take advantage of what appears to be one of the last warmer days for a little while. However, the wind was a huge challenge. Since we couldn't fish some of our normal locations I spent some time to scan some brush in areas that were more wind protected. As I lowered the jig down to the first deep new brush top this big fella pounded it. We also brought home a pretty nice mess of crappie to go with the walleye.
