    Default I'm the guinney pig...

The good news is my boat quit peeing this weekend instead of next at Crappie Camp. Ole' Dan walked up while I was loading up and cussing. I have never replaced a water pump my self and when I asked him if he knew how, the next thing I knew we were unloading my gear so I could leave it with him. I was a little concerned about theives in the location. But, just looking at him, I bet he ain't always be so congenial. I bet a theif could disappear and no one would know it.
He talked like he knew what to do, so I am more than willing to give him a try. I like to see guys like him become succesful. I bet he was put up wet many times.

Oh Yeah....fishing was awful. Liked to have froze and my hat blew off.

Well, that is what you call good news and bad news all in one. At least you getting it fixed before the camp.
You can't fish with a hung line!

Its good to replace water pump every year, cheap insurance! old pumps can come apart while you are running hard out on the water and cause your motor to overheat. also it is good to change oil in lower unit make sure seal is not letin in water.

For folks that have seen it done its apparently not that big of a deal. I'm sure Dan wont have any troubles with it. How long are you going to get to stay at crappie camp?

Plans are to get there in time to make camp Friday night. Then leave when everyone has fished enough on Sunday. My father is coming up from Houston and Adam plans on making it. Adam is having more female troubles. He and I may not make it because we will be in jail. I plan to be out by Friday though. Is it still murder if they don't find a body??

I can understand your hesitancy. I hope he gets your boat back to you soon. Be sure to give us an update when you get it back...

And ol' Dan might also be able to help you with Adam's troubles....There's some big ol' flatheads out there at Conway...
