J.T. you really did good for this change in weather. Did you catch them deeper, and how much did the water temp change.

    A bad day of fishing
beats a good day at work.

Wednesday was slow for me. Today Most of the fish were suspened down 15'-20' in 25' of water towards the back of wind blown coves with trees. All of them were caught on Shineee Hineees. Most were females also.

Here is the picture from yesterday. The one in the middle was nearly 2 lbs!
Today was no good! Fish would not bite and it was cooooooooooold! We fished for 3 hours and called it quits. They were happy though, they went home with 84 fillets!Name: minor.jpg

Nice mess J.T. , My hats off to you in these conditions, watch the glare. I'm still trying to put 15 in the boat, keepers that is, I still cannot catch more than 1 or 2 on jigs. Most have come on minnows in 12 ft. of water about 4 to 6 feet down. But by the time this weather is over I"ll bet I don"t even have that. By the way thanks for the info buddy.

Great catch !:D Man we fish a shallow lake and these cold fronts have wrecked the fishing.

    SR,
Try the YUM 1.5" black/chartreuse curl tails. Aaron has them @ Hook Line and Sinker. I dress them on a 1/16 oz black jig head. It's hard to beat a chartreuse shineee hineee also. I don't think I've caught a single keeper on a minnow in over two weeks! As soon as the weather balances out try jigs around laydowns along steep banks. Monte-NE has been good for me.

I went to Oklahoma for 5 days in hopes of catching myself a B-day crappie, I figured since everyone here forgot about my B-day I'd convert to the Oklahoma board where they sent me a total of 3 PM's saying happy B-day, haha. Good fishing, I caught a few last Friday morning before heading out for Oklahoma....there was snow on the ground (not the roads) and one went about 1.4 lbs...not too shabby, made a good sandwich for the road trip, cya.
