    Default Anyone near West Memphis?

Anyone live near West Memphis? And does anyone like to go fishing during the Week? I am a paramedic so I usually fish during the week. I have a boat and a truck. Would love to her from someone.

Man if I was closer, I'd be glad to go with you. But you are about 5 hours from where I live in North Cent. Arkansas around Yellville. But if you get this way, give a shout and we'll hook up and head out to the Bull.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!

Toby, I live in West Memphis. But, I only get to fish on weekends. There are some days I fish Friday or Monday. I use vacation days for those.

That is a very nice offer. There are a couple more from this area who frequent Arkansas board.

Also there is a guy who lives in
Memphis that fishs over here. His name is ...luvdemcrappies... he is a Fireman if I remember correctly. He probably has the same hours has you. Also he is trying to convience the wife to let him buy a boat. I'm sure he'd love to hook up. Heck I would love to go too, sometimes it is nice not having to pull a boat .

    Shoot him a PM

Toby...glad to see an Eastern Arkie posting. Fishing during the week is awesome, especially this time of year. With the extended afternoon hours, you may look for some buddies that can fish after work. What lakes do you normally fish around there?

well congratulations on the boat. You'll have to post a picture of it for us to see. I'm going to get a newer one myself in a couple of years.

    Toby,
Are you still able to launch at Horseshoe. I was there about a month ago and it was pretty hard to launch at that time. I decided that I wouldn't go back until we got some rain to raise the level a little. I went to Burnt Cane a couple of weeks ago but didn't do any good. It was right after a front so I think it had shut them down. I talked to several fisherman that day and none of them were having any luck. They all said that they were biting good before the front came through. When was the last time you were at Burnt Cane and what did you catch? I also live in Marion so maybe we can hook up one day and see if we can catch them.
