    Default Southern AR, Eldorado questions

Hello all, I'm going to visit my dad in Eldorado in a couple weeks. Does anyone know of any spots to fish down that way.

It's awfully hot right now and the bites are slow. Maybe try Lake Columbia 30 miles West in Magnolia for summertime bass.

I'd go to lake Erling. But it's not an easy lake to fish if you don't know it well and it will be miserably hot by mid morning. When exactly are you going to be there? There may be a chance I'll be there visiting my grandkids, if so I might be able to help you some.

Moro Bay is about 25 miles east on Hwy 63. Good fishing there.

I was afraid of that. I can't make that weekend I'm already committed to something here at home. I was just going to try and take you if I was going to be there.

The first weekend I might could be back there is July 21st. It was a little slow this morning, only caught 11 in 3 hours with about a pound and a quarter average.
