    I broke a pole tip by jerking a leadhead into it when I missed a fish . I heard a loud crack when it hit , but did not think much about it till next pull it broke . Ran into a guy I recommended to buy one and he had broken one .. Sent a message to Ken at Power Crappie , home of Todd Huckabee Rods and he is sending replacements . Thanks for great customer service .: Even tough tackle can only take so much . No telling how many lbs of slab Crappie were swung with that rod since first of the year .

    I have some old reels not much good for Bass fishing anymore . That is an old Shimano reel I found in the mud while Nimrod was drawn down .The other photo is a Quantum Reel .Trying to see if I like bait casters over spinning reels on my jig poles . Using some old Bass fishing reels I had out in my shop before I spend money to buy new ones since not casting anyway . I like Diawa reels for Bass or Catfishing . Been really impressed with these tough rods but nothing indestructible , I would not be afraid to use them for Bass or Catfish .. Ken sent replacements and Postal Service destroyed them and cardboard tube not once but twice . He will resend Monday , hope 3 times is a charm .

    Ever had a heavy lead head fly out on hook set and hit you ? Like a bullet ! What are the odds of one hitting your rod tip and breaking it ? Might be a good idea to wear sunglasses while fishing , could save an eye .
