Default Nimrod update after the cold snap.

I kept 7 good keepers in that wind today. The water temps dropped as much as 10 degrees in some spots. They had pulled out to the edge of creek channels. I did catch some males that had turned dark. They should pick up this week if the weather forecast is true.

The surface temps sure did bottom out. Were you fishing morning or afternoon?

And, you're right about the weather forecast for the week. The crappie bite should be very good.

The same old folks were out today and said they had about 6 fish again. I kept 13 with one at 2lbs all on jigs. They said they had one bigger. That wind was a killer.

I kept a limit today. The wind started out OK and then it got rough. The water temps around 67 ,but fish are 10' deep. They should move up soon. But the invasion has started ,campers and boats rolling into the campground.

Looking forward to fishin' this weekend but NIMROD is right. The parks are all full and the kids are on Spring break next week. The boat traffic is definately going to be a factor. Here's some that came out of Lake Nimrod this last week!
