    Default Fish and eat results.

I want to thank all that came and lent a hand to make this gathering such a success. I think we had close to 20 folks join us and we sure did a job of putting away the crappie and fixins. The fish were a little slow but most every one caught some good fish or at least a few. I was trying to make the rounds and visit with everyone and point those that were new to the area in the right directions. Some I pointed right and some I pointed wrong but everybody had a good time. If I failed to see you off or didnt visit with youI am sorry. I was just busy with the cooking, condo sinking, marking brush for folks. I cant wait to do it again in May.

    Now the pics.

Looks like ya'll had a blast. Nice fish also. Beats what I did yesterday, spent the day organizing junk for an estate sale. I would like to try an make it to a Crappie gathering soon.

Gooch, I can't thank you enough for the great time. The food was wonderful, even the hush puppies. I fished with Jack and he and I being the olldest kids had a blast. Jack said he caught the biggest crappie he ever caught. I measured it before I cleaned it and it was 13 inches. My big one was 14 inches and also the biggest crappie I ever caught. Thanks for pointing us to the dock fishing. I got back to the mountains about 0100 but could not fall asleep until about 0200, I was still going 55 mph and could feel the rocking of the boat. Jack, if you read this, pm me your address and I'll send you a print of the picture of you and your big fish or if you prefer, I can email it. Thanks again guys and ya'll have a great day.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
