Default Help this weekend lake Greeson or nearby?

I’m in Hot Springs for work and brought my parents with me. Looking to get them on some fish tomorrow and Saturday and was thinking Greeson??? White bass, crappie, whatever... just want them to get there pole yanked a lot as I don’t get to fish with them much. Any ideas or help appreciated as I have an 18’ bass boat with me and can head in any direction. Don’t know the area at all. I know Kentucky Lake well and can return the favor if anyone ever heads my way. Thx

You can probably find a fish or two just hugging the banks and trying the buckbrush at Greeson. We always put in at Daisy State Park, but Bear Creek would probably be just as good. White bass may be running in the river leading into the lake as well. Good luck.

Greeson hasn't been much good as of late. All the rains put it about 15' above normal and then they were sucking water out of it as fast a possible which didn't make for good fishing. It may have rebounded in the last week or so but I was there the week of spring break and it was the worst fishing I have ever had on that lake. If you are here in Hot Springs just go out on Hamilton it's had the most stable water levels of any of our lakes recently and brush isn't hard to find out there. If you're not hip on Hamilton give Ouachita a try.
