I think he has now worked on 4 boats at our nightstalk gatherings. The only one of the 4 I don't think he fixed was his.

By the way I am just loving your post of late with the big fish and smiling faces. Keep up the good work buddy.
Gooch, I have to agree with you on that one, he is a pretty good ole motor monkey. Now, all you pacifists don't get in an uproar over that (if there's any reading or posting on the off-topic board, lol). It's a compliment because I'm a mere monkey-see-monkey-do. I don't mind getting greasy but have no clue as to why I did, but I'm there man. However, if it's mechanical, David will either fix it or burn it up so there is no doubt as to what needs to be replaced on it. If he can fix it and then fly in it himself, I think I'd respect his ability any day.

Hey Jeff, yes, Lake Greeson is the springtime place to be. The males are definitely moving up into the shallows and the females are nearby. Right now we are running and gunning from sweet spot to possible sweet spot. If we could just get a little precip. and bring the lake up a foot or two then there would be so much more places to get hammered in the shallows. See ya next Friday.

And I'm glad to see that you're draggin' some NE Arkansas boys down to fish. That guy standing on the right is/was a professor of environmental biology at ASU. I guess he wrote it off as a business expense to gather some water samples...:D
Easy now brother, we don't need domestic violence on my sweet suzi, lol.

Yeah, that is Al Christian, the "muscle man" and friend of Betty Crump the Kirby Landing Marina owner's wife. He had just given a big seminar or symposium in Little Rock on aquatic muscles, the final results of a big research project or something and he was down for a few days R&R. I took him scouting with me and Brian who managed to land the biggest crappie I've ever caught on Lake Greeson so far. In fact, if I remember right, last year we were land our share of 15"ers and now there are some 17"ers showing up. We are heading in the right direction and the 3-pounder just might be coming in the near future.

Hey there Minnowman. Brian snagged, oops I mean hooked, that one at about 12' deep in about 24' of water. We had been catching some shallower but decided to try some a little deeper, mostly a staging bed not far from a small area they might try to spawn in. Brian will use a minnow every once in a while as long as it's attached to a jig. I don't remember if this one was jig only or not, but it took my breath away when I saw it as I stuck the net under it. The funniest thing of all was I had just kidded Brian about not being able to catch really big crappie (talking trash ya know), and there she was.

No doubt they are worth every penny. I don't know if Suzuki is still making the 4-stroke for Johnson/Evinrude still but if so they are the same motor.
