We caught a good mess today finaly! We ended up with over 40 keepers on two trips today. All most all of them were caught in weeds out of the wind. We uses black/green curl tails. I'll be out the next two days on trips, I'm not sure on Saturday yet!Name: watson.jpg

Alright man!!! That's what I been waiting to see! Looks like you had quite the crew...bet you were a busy man!! Keep up the good work, it only gets better from here on out for a while....(knock on wood!!!) -- I went by and talked to the guy about my boat, he said it's a FOR SURE deal so I am waiting on him to get ready for me now....can't wait! I am planning several 3 day weekends (taking Friday's off) so hopefully I'll see you out there from time to time with a boat full of customers and livewell FULL of slab Beaver Crappie....good luck!

That sure does look like a happy crew and a nice stringer of crappie. Hope your next two days are just as productive...

Most of the fish where caught in the back of Nelson Hollow, Piney Creek and in and around Hickory Creek. Look for the dead weeds sticking out of the water, and it is there where you will find fish! Good luck!

So you are telling me a man could almost walk the banks around Hickory campgrounds and up in the cove and possibly yank a few from dry land? :D

Interesting...nice scouting report Piper! Thanks, MM

There were a lot of bank fisherman catching crappie around the park. I saw a guy and his dog catch a limit right in front of me! Did you get my e-mail the other day Caleb. I haven't had a lot of time to talk on the phone latley!
