My nephew and I had a wonderful time. I wish we could have stayed longer, but he couldn't take the cold and the guy I had with me was getting a little grouchy. I know someone not being asked to go back. Unfortunatley, some people worry only about how many fish are caught and not the liesure time gained by just being out there. If we wanted to work, we would stay at home. Don't mean to preach to the choir.
I did have a great time and can't wait til the next get together

Jake your welcome anytime as long as you bring the kid. I got a kick out of hearing he, and the old kids catching those crappie under the boat dock. Sounded like the recess at an elementry school down there.
Darryl Morris mentioned hosting one of these fish and feeds on Hammilton this summer. Hopefuly being a little closer to home you will be able to stay all day or night with us.Originally Posted by Jakekatfishin
Thanks for posting the pics mister. Looks like yall had a large time.
I hate it that I didn't get to meet y'all. I had to bolt fairly early without even wettin' a hook. At least Gooch took me out on the water for a few minutes.Originally Posted by Jakekatfishin
It's tough having a fair-weather fisherman in the boat with you on a slow day. Just have to make the best of it. Anyways, I hope to meet up with you at the next get-together.
Ceb you missed the fun at 10:30 at night gooch found the part that he bought from the guy here in OKLA and I showed him the it was the right one and now hes back in bussiness the tilt and trim worked great. we did miss having the master out on the water with us mabey we could have caught some thing besides all them stripers we were catching. I think they had the crappie run up under the docks for cover. Glad that flyflinger and Jack found the fish. they had a smile a mile wide.

Really great looking pics. Wish I could have been there with ya'll. Sometime we'll have to have one here on Hamilton. The condo/resort where I live has a pavilion and a boat ramp and well just take this place over for a day. I bet the ole POA president will like that, LOL, LOL, LOL. Heck, all the more reason to do it.

You should have seen that little boy. Jack and I were fishing about 15 feet apart, and the kid drops in between us and pulls one out. What a blast. He was ten feet tall and me an Jack were laughing our butts off. I think he caught about 4 that way and was he a happy camper. I really want to go back there sometime. Good food, good folks and good fish'n even if I didn't get home till 0100. It was worth every mile.
If you're too busy to go fishing, you're too busy!
