    Default Beaver Lake Crappie...

BRGolden, StinkiesDaddy....where do the two of you normally put in at? I'd assume StinkDaddy you'd put in at Prarie Creek, right? I am probably 2 weeks from having me new boat, when I get it I will be out there about 4-5 times/wk. I have other fishing buddies, but most are always working or busy when I want to go...let me know when you normally go and where, maybe we can meet up and drop a few crappie condos sometimes....??? I have a few of my own built...we just need to get them dropped and pinged on GPS....you know? Good luck fishing....! MM

I did well in Monte-Ne and Horseshoe bend today. We boated nearly 2 limits mostly on jigs. All but two were males. The biggest was only 12.5". Most were around 10"-11", but a keeper is a keeper!
We were on some large whites near the sidewalk hole along the buck brush. They were chasing bait. We didn't do well on crappie there for some reason though.

That's good to hear...what color jigs were they after or could you not really pin down a certain color? You are right about that man, I'd rather get 30 keepers then 3 slabs any day of the week as long as the slabs were not over 2.5 lbs, haha! What size white's were you getting into? Those are some really fun times on Beaver when they start going into that feeding frenzy, I love it. What time were they biting? I can't wait to get back out there on Saturday morning, I hear the fog is slowly creeping our way from Oklahoma...we'll see! Keep me posted, thanks for the update.....MM

We were using Black/chartreuse curl tails. The whites were 2-4 pounds and a hybrid around 5. The whites were full of eggs! We caught them around 11 a.m.
The water was calm and all you had to do was cast at the bait then BOOM there they were!
